Lynx DSS有两个版本。其中，L108-F2G-S2是2层工业串口设备联网以太网交换机，支持威斯特摩WeOS网络操作系统；Lynx DSS在同类设备服务器中最紧凑、功率最低，并配备4个10/100 Mbit/s端口，此外还有2个可安装Gbit或者100 Mbit SFP收发器的端口，其中一个串行端口配置为RS-232，另一个可配置为RS-232或者RS-422/485。
专属的工业级部件使得Lynx DSS的MTBF（平均无故障时间）超过50万小时（MIL-HDBK-217F（Gb）25°C），拥有超长的产品服务周期。设备外壳无风扇或散热孔设计，工作温度范围可以从–40到+70°C（–40到+158°F）。Lynx DSS已经通过威斯特摩和外部测试机构在EMC、绝缘、振动和冲击等诸多方面的检测，并达到适用于重工业环境和铁路轨旁应用的最高水平。
威斯特摩开发的WeOS，能够提供跨平台、面向未来的解决方案。WeOS在传统IP解决方案中提供独有功能，支持Modbus网关、虚拟COM、调制解调器更换和TCP server 与client选择。
